Event Description

As markets transition into fall planning season, treasury and finance leaders face renewed uncertainty around interest rates, inflation, market volatility, and policy direction.

Join AFP Vancouver for an End‑of‑Summer Economic Outlook, featuring a moderated panel of leading economic experts discussing the implications of the September rate decision and the broader macroeconomic landscape — with a clear focus on what it means for corporate treasury, finance, and risk management.

This session is designed to be interactive, practical, and discussion‑driven, offering attendees the opportunity to engage directly with economists and peers in a relaxed, social setting.

WHY THIS MATTERS FOR TREASURY & FINANCE LEADERS

As organizations prepare for Q4 and beyond:

  • Rate expectations continue to shift
  • Inflation and growth signals remain mixed
  • FX and funding markets are increasingly sensitive to policy messaging

Understanding these dynamics is critical for liquidity planning, funding strategy, risk management, and capital allocation.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

  • How economists are interpreting the September rate decision
  • Key macro and inflation trends shaping the outlook
  • Implications for interest rates, FX, and financial markets
  • What treasury and finance leaders should be watching into year‑end
  • How peers are thinking about risk and uncertainty
