Guy has been a corporate banker, foreign exchange trader, project and structured finance specialist and team leader at three major Canadian and international banks.  Guy was also VP &Treasurer of an NYSE-listed public company in the service industry during a period of rapid growth followed by a challenging cross-border restructuring.

Along with his colleagues at Global Treasury Partners, Guy advises on treasury policy, strategy, systems and procedures. The firm also provides advice on foreign exchange exposure, hedge accounting and banking strategies.

Steven leads Standard & Poor’s efforts in working with unrated companies and clients on contractual and commercial issues as well as other rating analytical services. Steve is located in New York NY.

Previously, Steve was a Managing Director of West Avenue Capital in Darien, CT focusing on the funding of small-medium size early stage ventures across such industries as mining, commodity trading, cloud computing and commercial real estate.

Before joining West Avenue, Steve was a Managing Director at MBIA Insurance Company, serving as the Head of the Financial Institutions practice. Prior to that he was located in Tokyo, Japan for MBIA and headed the APAC group for corporate and consumer securitizations.

Steve holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in International Relations from Knox College in Galesburg, IL. He also holds a Masters in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Glendale, AZ.
